2009 - The Year of Determination

Happy New Year! I love the start of the new year. We all get another opportunity to really take risks, and another chance to fully commit to what we want in our lives and in our careers. The key is to do so with determination.
2008 was the year of empowerment here at The Savvy Actor, and we know many of you found just that through our seminars, coachings and classes. When you realize you are in control of your career it is a very powerful thing. So it is only fitting that this be the year of determination, which is simply deciding something definitely and firmly.
So, it's now time to make a decision. Are you going to strive for what you want wholeheartedly in your life and your career with ultimate determination?
The answer to that seems simple. Yes! But how we do that, how do we become 'determined' and continue that determination through 2009? Understand your passion, embrace your passion, practice your passion. Passion is such an interesting topic. We tend to go-go-go in our careers and then forget why we became actors in the first place. The 'why' is your passion. It's what keeps you going. It's what drives you forward. It's what makes you determined to achieve this or that: a powerful surge of energy that moves you.
